global warming

Global warming is starting and it is not looking good for the environment. The polar ice caps are melting and in my opinion we are not doing enough to help the situation. Some citizens say that the president is looking past this. Sooner or later there will be no more polar bears around, they will be extinct. A scientist appeared on 60 minutes the other night and stated we don't have any more than 5 years before strange things start to happen with the weather. He stated when the caps melt it will cause fresh water to flow into the oceans, cause salinity to decrease. From here it will not only kill the ocean life, but it will mess with the ocean currents, especially El Nino. To me this is a scary thought and we need to act before its too late.

Women President

Is it time for the United States to have a women for president? In my opinion I believe that it is. I not only say this because I am a girl, but because a human being is a human being, whether man or women. There are women out there in charge of other countries, take Queen Elizabeth for example. In the United States we already have women currently holding other government offices. I think Hillary Clinton is a good candidate.
